Born into Yunus (Omodudu, Gidigbi) and Mogaji-Areh family of Sarumu Court and Oke-Iposu in Epe Central in the 70s.
He attended Brigadier Maimalari Day Secondary School, Maiduguri, Borno State after which he proceeded to Yaba College of Technology and thereafter to Lagos State University where he bagged a degree in Sociology and Anthropology.
Yunus, also, bagged a certificate in Advanced Writing and Reporting Skills (AWARES) (2014) and Masters Class in Oil and Gas Reporting (MFOR) (2015), School of Media and Communications, Pan Atlantic University.
He has worked with Lagos State Water Corporation, Steam Broadcasting and Communication Limited (Cool FM) and currently an Editor with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He is a member of several journalistic unions and associations among which are: the Nigeria Union of Journalists; Russian Union of Journalists (RUJ); National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ); League of Airports and Aviation Correspondents; National Association of Energy Correspondents; Sports Writers Association of Nigeria; Finance Writers Association of Nigeria; and, Judicial Correspondents of Nigeria.
He is happily married and blessed with proud children.
